New California Best Business Plan Competition

Hello all.  In keeping with the spirit of helping Jaycees, we're announcing the long awaited "Best Business Plan" competition.

Do you have an idea for a business?  Let us help you mold your idea into a presentation that any lending institution would jump on.
Businesses get denied loans for one of two reasons: 1) The idea sucks, or 2) the idea isn't presented well.  We aim to help you with #2.
The first step is to submit your written business plans at your respective regional meeting in May.  Then, the winners from regionals will
present their business plans to our consultants in August for feedback.  Finally, the best plans will be judged by our expert judges in
November.  One winner will be chosen, and JCI California is already working on a plan to match lenders with the winner to make their business a reality!

What to do:
1. Come up with an idea for a new business, or an addition to an existing business.
2. Download the Best Business Plan judging form to get an idea of what makes a great business plan.
3. Review the sample business plans on this website.
4. Get started!
5. After completion, ask for feedback from your chapter IDVP
6. Submit your business plan at your Spring Regional Meeting.
